What this policy covers
This policy covers two things: this website (brentsessentials.com), and the internal advertising tools we use to manage Google Ads accounts, referred to below as “Brent's Essentials Ads Tools”.
Information we collect through this website
If you complete the partner application form, we collect what you enter: business name, contact name, email address, phone number, and, if you choose to provide them, industry, city, website, monthly lead goal and a message.
We use this only to review your application and to reply to you. The form is delivered to us by email through our email provider, and we send you a confirmation message. We do not use it for any other purpose.
Some parts of the site are private areas for people we have invited, such as partner and coaching accounts. Information entered there is used to provide that service to that person.
Brent's Essentials Ads Tools and Google user data
Brent's Essentials Ads Tools is internal software used by our team. It is not offered to the public, and members of the public do not sign in to it. It connects to Google Ads using Google sign-in (OAuth) so that our team can manage advertising accounts that we operate for ourselves and for clients who have given us access.
It asks for the following Google permission: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords (manage Google Ads).
What the tools do with it:
- Read campaign settings, budgets, keywords, ads, search terms, performance and conversion data.
- Make the changes our team instructs, such as creating, pausing or editing campaigns, ads, keywords and budgets.
- Send conversion and audience information into Google Ads where a client has agreed to it.
How we handle that data:
- We use it only to provide and operate advertising management for the accounts concerned.
- We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling of our own.
- We do not use it to develop or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Our team may use software tools, including AI-based assistants, to help prepare reports and campaign changes on our instructions.
- The sign-in credential is stored on our own systems, is not shared with anyone else, and is used only by our team.
- We do not allow people to read Google user data except as needed to carry out the work, where it is required by law, or with the account owner's consent.
Brent's Essentials' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can withdraw access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, or by asking us to stop.
Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information. We use service providers to run our operations, such as website hosting, database storage and email delivery, and they handle information only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it. Some providers store or process information outside Canada.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, and then delete it or keep only what the law requires.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, by emailing hello@brentsessentials.com. We handle personal information in line with applicable Canadian privacy law.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
